Canoe rental in Oppdal offers excellent opportunities for peaceful paddling trips in scenic surroundings. Oppdal has several large mountain lakes well suited for canoeing, and our canoes are located at Lake Gjevilvatnet, a beautiful mountain valley in Trollheimen. Here you will also find the popular sandy beach Rauøra, perfect for a pleasant break along the way.
What can you expect from a canoe trip?
The canoes we rent out are stable and easy to paddle, making them ideal for family outings, fishing trips, and short excursions. Each canoe is suitable for two people (alternatively two adults and one child). Everyone on the water must wear a life jacket. Life jackets and paddles are included in the rental and are collected from our office in Oppdal.
Terms and Safety
When renting a canoe, the renter is responsible for both the equipment and their own safety. The equipment must be returned in the same condition as when received. We also assume that you have the necessary skills to use a canoe safely.

Dress according to weather and temperature, and remember that weather conditions in the mountains can change quickly.
