Birdwatching with a Guide in Oppdal Book
The wilderness around Oppdal is known for its rich ecological diversity. With access to old-growth forests, wetlands and high mountain terrain, the area is well suited for guided birdwatching, and it is possible to observe many different species within a relatively limited area.
What can you expect from guided birdwatching?
On our guided birdwatching tours, we plan according to the season and local conditions. There is no guarantee of seeing specific species, but the guide regularly works in the field and monitors occurrences throughout the season to provide the best possible basis for successful observations. An overview of bird species that may occur in the Oppdal area is also available.
If you wish to join on a specific date, we can provide a realistic suggestion of which species are likely to be seen during that period. If you are interested in one or more particular species, we can also tailor the tour accordingly — within the limits of nature. Feel free to contact us for a friendly birding discussion and tour planning.
