Øystein Nordgård has been a musk ox guide since 2001. His favorite safari experience involves being chased by a musk ox only two meters behind him, but he says "it went alright!" He loves soccer, hunting, fishing and traveling. "Oppdal is a place to really relax and do nature stuff."

Jon Strand has worked as a musk ox guide since 1998. His favorite musk ox experience took place when he witnessed a meeting of four groups of musk ox having a meeting in Sunndalen. He also likes ice cave touring, cross country skiing and other out door activities. Jon is also the author of '40 Turer i Oppdal', a book describing hiking routes in the mountains surrounding Oppdal. "Oppdal has the valleys, woods, seas, lakes and mountains, there are a wide variety of things to do in Oppdal!" |
